MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Cougar S.C. Wildcats GU12 soccer team of South Orange-Maplewood did not let the chilly weather hold them back this weekend. They earned two wins with a 4-3 victory over the Summit S.C. Comets on Oct. 17, and a 2-1 victory over the Metuchen Travel S.C. Lightning Speed on Oct. 18. The team is coached by Vlad Stelmak, Billy Ordower and trainer Danny Smith. Top, Cassandra Ratkevich keeps the ball out of her opponent’s reach. Bottom, Lyra Graff takes command of the field.
