MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The final candidates forum for one seat on the Maplewood Township Committee will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, beginning at 9:45 a.m. at Les Saisons, 304 Elmwood Ave. in Maplewood. The debate, sponsored by the Maplewood Senior Share, will be followed by a light brunch at 11:15 a.m.
Republican Mike Summersgill and Democrat Frank McGeHee will present their platforms and respond to questions from the audience. The questions will be presented on site without any previous review by the candidates and all questions will emanate from the audience and cover any topics of concern.
The event will be moderated by Ed Brisbane, an authority on long-term care and other senior health, housing and financial options. Brisbane professionally assists seniors in their search and journey for solutions to their aging issues with sensitivity and attention to details. He has presented to Maplewood Senior Share in the past year.
