MILLBURN, NJ — Paper Mill Playhouse recently announced casting for its award-winning Broadway Show Choir. The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir is a tuition-free, audition-based, exhibition show choir that stems from Paper Mill Playhouse’s arts education and outreach programs. The choir consists of 80 singer and dancers between the ages of 15 and 22.
Essex County students participating include Belleville’s Carl Sayson and Rachel Aquino; Caldwell’s Kate Glennon, Giulia Russo and Will Taylor; Fairfield’s Madelin Morales; Maplewood’s Hunter Kovacs; Millburn’s Natalie Aris, Larry Toyter and Erin Hernon; Montclair’s Miles Wright; North Caldwell’s Paige Wasserman; Nutley’s Matthew Rodriguez and David Villa; Short Hills’ Simran Sawhney, Steph Stone and Johnathan Charette; South Orange’s Josephus Gordon; West Caldwell’s Hunter Halliwell; and West Orange’s Isaiah Beals.
Students selected to be part of this talented group will have the opportunity to fine-tune their craft with free, intensive instruction. The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir runs from October to June and rehearses on Sunday evenings at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church in downtown Millburn.
